Specific Skills
REQUIREMENTS:
• You will work out of our Seattle office 5 days a week (hours are a bit flexible, but an avg. 40-50 hour work week, with 30 of those hours spent in the office, is required)
• College degree (or a great reason for not having one, and believe us, there are plenty)
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Minimum 1 year hands-on work experience in search engine optimization with a track record for successfully improving both individual rankings for keywords/phrases and improving overall site traffic
• SEO experience with a variety of websites
• Deep understanding of search engine technology, functionality, and optimization tactics
• Excellent grasp of Internet business and marketing strategies - how to build, improve, and grow a successful property on the web
• Strong technical aptitude with a basic understanding of XHTML/CSS, JavaScript/Actionscript, basic web server technology, database software/functionality (ability to write code not necessary)
• Expertise in social media marketing/optimization (SMM/SMO) on the web, including linkbait design and viral marketing campaigns and promotion
• Active participation with the SEO community on and off the web, including the surrounding blogosphere and social media outlets
• Experience with at least one major web analytics tool
EXPERIENCE:
• Any degree.
• 1+ years of seo,sem experience.
