Web Designer:
As a Web Designer with Kaptivate you will use your exceptional web design skills to create websites, email blasts, and other web assets to support initiatives for our brand partners and marketing channels. You’ll provide innovative and inspired designs from mock-up to launch that are on strategy and executed as required. You’ll continually maintain and optimize sites and stay abreast of emerging web technologies and design practices.
Specific Skills
REQUIREMENTS:
• A portfolio demonstrating excellent visual design and clean, compliant code
• Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, user interfaces, Web standards and usability
• Mastery of all applicable software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash)
• Proficiency in HTML/DHTML/CSS, Javascript
• Ability to design CSS-based table-less layouts
• Working knowledge of PHP
• Experience building and maintaining large sites (50+ pages)
• Ability to execute from concept to site launch with a comprehensive knowledge of development and testing
• Focus on template creation, usability, and functionality of each website
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and quick-changing work environment
• Ability to articulate design and usability theory
EXPERIENCE:
• Any degree
• 1+ years of Web design experience and professional HTML/CSS experience
• 1+ years of professional Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience
